Mentoring Program

Connecting incoming residents and applicants with established Egyptian-American physicians for career guidance.

The EAMA Sponsorship Program was created to guide and support young Egyptian medical professionals pursuing training and research opportunities in the United States. Through mentorship, academic and financial assistance, and professional networking, the program helps applicants navigate exams, residency applications, and research opportunities.

Financial Support

Mentoring is provided at no cost. Each mentee is matched with a field-specific mentor who provides career guidance sessions, interview preparation, application strategy advice, and ongoing professional support.

Selection Criteria

  • Egyptian nationals or those of Egyptian descent pursuing medical training in the USA
  • Currently applying for or accepted into a residency program
  • Committed to actively engaging with the assigned mentor throughout the program cycle
  • Preference is given to applicants with demonstrated academic achievement and professional commitment
