Ahmed M. El-Eshmawi

Ahmed M. El-Eshmawi received a PhD in cardiothoracic surgery (Egyptian Board Certification equivalent in Cardiothoracic Surgery). He has had numerous publications including Developing a mitral valve center of excellence published by Current Opinion in Cardiology: In press. He is a member of several societies including STS Society of Thoracic Surgery, The Society of Heart Valve Disease and Egyptian Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He did Fellowship in Heart Valve Cardiac Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Currently, he is an Assistant professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Clinical Director of the Mitral Valve Reference Center. Mount Sinai Medical Center.


Wael Elkholy

Wael Elkholy received the Chief Resident award at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a former Assistant professor at Yale University. Board certified in Pain Management. He currently he is an Inverntional Pain management specialist and acupuncturist , Precision pain and spine institute pain medicine of NY. Also, an attending Anesthesiologist at RWJ in New Brunswick, NJ


Ahmed Rabie

Ahmed Rabie received his Bachelor of Dentistry degree from Cairo University. And continued with a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. He Began his career as a Dentist and transitioned to pharmaceutical sales, developing expertise in Pain, Cardiovascular, and Dermatology. Currently is the Global Commercial Vice President for the Hematology Franchise, Janssen Pharmaceuticals. He has extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales & marketing, including sales leadership, product launches & line extensions in Global, Regional, & US roles, Ahmed is currently responsible for leading the hematology Franchise to develop and execute commercial strategies for the current, early and late-stage portfolio, along with global launches and business development.


Nabil Rezk

Nabil Rezk received his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. He was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and attending of Psychiatry at Long Island Collage Hospital, SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Nabil is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is currently the Attending of Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital Center.


Ahmed Hassanin

Ahmed Hassanien graduated from Alexandria University School of Medicine in 2009 with honors. He completed a two-year post-doctoral research fellowship at the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapy at Columbia University and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York. He received the MD Faculty Fellow Educator of the Year Award for 2017. Ahmed is currently a Cardiovascular Disease Fellow at Westchester Medical Center.


Tarek Alshafie

Tarek Alshafie graduated from Cairo University, completing both training and a Doctorate of science in surgery. After moving to the US, he completed a residency and two fellowships in vascular surgery at Columbia University and the University of Arkansas. He was an assistant clinical professor at Columbia University.

Tarek is Board Certified in Vascular and General Surgery, and is an attending vascular surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center and the Valley Hospital. He is a visiting associate professor in Vascular Surgery at the Rutgers University School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of surgeons and is an active member of several societies of Vascular Surgery.. Tarek founded the Egyptian American Medical Association.
