DR. SAMIR BANOOB
Dr. Banoob is an International Consultant in Health Systems and Professor of Health Policy and Management. Dr. Banoob is a graduate from Alexandria University School of Medicine where he received his medical degree as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Health majoring in Hospital Administration, and Doctorate Degree in Public Health majoring in Health Planning and Management. Dr. Banoob also received postgraduate education at Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. He served as a full time Professor of Health Policy and Management, and Director of the International Health Management Programs at the College of Public Health, University of South Florida for 20 years (1983-2002). He served as Chair of the American Public Health Association International Health Section, and member of its Governing Council and International Committee on Human Rights. Dr. Banoob is the President of International Health management, LLC. since 1986, a consulting firm in Florida, leading international health projects and training scholars from more than 70 countries. Dr Banoob serves as the honorary president of the Egyptian American Medical Association.
