Dr. Ahmed Hassanin
Dr. Hassanin is a graduate of Alexandria University School of Medicine class of 2008. He is one of the co-founders of Al-Hayat charity fraternity in Alexandria University and has held the position of vice –president for two consecutive years.
Dr. Hassanin completed his transitional internship at Alexandria University Main Hospital in 2010. Subsequently he became involved in clinical research and was appointed as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapy at Columbia University between 2010 and 2012 and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York in 2011. He has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals and in national conferences in the field of interventional cardiology.
Dr. Hassanin is currently in his third year of Internal Medicine residency at Morristown Medical Center (MMC) in New Jersey. He has recently accepted the chief resident position at MMC for the academic year of 2015.
